July 18, 2022, New York, NY - Urban Therapy LLC announces the appointment of Dana Ammons as our new President and CEO, effective July 18th, 2022. Dana comes to us directly from Procter & Gamble and will also join the board as Board Member. This follows the departure of our previous CEO Randy Zeno at the end of last year. Randy left to pursue an exciting new opportunity for him that he was recruited for.
Dana Ammons said “I am excited by this fantastic opportunity to step into the President and CEO role to lead Urban Therapy into the next phase of exponential growth in the international natural hair care and beauty market. The last two years have seen Urban Therapy, and its key brands – Twisted Sista and Wellness + Therapy - achieve significant distribution growth through key brand partnerships across the US, Canada and European retail markets. Moving forward, I will be focused on ensuring that our brands continue on a strong glide path of share growth that will fuel expansion into additional areas of the fast growing multicultural beauty market.
